About

A little bit about myself...I grew up in a small town in the north of Israel and started playing guitar at the age of 12. The first record I ever owned was The Razor’s Edge by AC/DC.As a young adult, I traveled quite a bit. I studied music in Tel Aviv and theater in Berlin, explored electronic music, and composed professionally for modern dance. I danced on the streets of New Orleans and in the NYC subway. My first role in commercial theater involved tap dancing out of an elevator—only to be thrown out of a window.Over the years, I’ve had the honor of collaborating on stage with the legendary Bobby McFerrin and performing for former Israeli president Shimon Peres. I’ve toured the world both as a street performer and as a cast member of the renowned Israeli dance group Mayumana. I led my own swing band, Ron & the Red Beans, for eight years, taught tap dance at major festivals worldwide, and had my original compositions for modern dance performed live at the Hannover Opera House in Germany. In December 2020, I moved to Los Angeles, which has since become my home.I love biking and cooking - I add a lot of cumin to almost everything I make and most importantly - I’m the proud father of a beautiful daughter named Mayah.
